A bit about Dr. Acierno Loftus

Dr. Michelle Acierno Loftus started volunteering at the veterinary hospital when she was young and never considered any other career. She followed her calling to University of Pennsylvania, where she attended veterinary school before completing internships at the University of Minnesota (rotating) and Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (diagnostic imaging), as well as a residency at Texas A&M. 

She’s drawn to radiology because she gets to be involved in the care of multiple patients across all disciplines, and she particularly loves collaborating with other veterinarians on challenging cases. 

Outside of work she enjoys cooking new recipes with her husband, creative baking, paddleboarding, and hiking.
